It was small (<2mm) but the kind that could eventually become cancerous. Don't wait until 50. I know because my hubby was diagnosed stage 3c when he was only 41 years old. 4 years, 2 surgeries, 2 rounds of chemo and one removed colon later and he is doing ok. We may need to rethink the colonoscopy age. Something in our diets is causing people to get it younger and younger. I’m in my late 20’s and one of my good friends has battled it. I had to get a colonoscopy because of some symptoms I was having last year and my doctor says they see it pop up with greater regularity in young people.I just had one at age 36. Whatever works. I tell him it’s all the devil trying to scare him and to be strong and pray. The key is to understand that this is his reality. I can not argue with him or belittle what he sees.
