Best man for a friend whose divorce happened 3 years after the ceremony but marriage only last 2 months and some change. He was/is the nicest guy in the world, but a bit soft and naive, and had a pregnancy scare with a women who was barely more than a one night stand (she was on the farthest fringes of the friend group). She lies about pregnancy for 3 months and then says miscarriage- he forgives her. She has tons of baggage- he helps her carry it. Hes got a nice chunk of change from his parents passing- she so lovingly helps herself. Finally she convinces him to marry her and then she runs off with her "step brother" (her bf who she had on the side the whole time) 2 months after. Took forever to convince him to divorce and track her down.

Dota being as top heavy as it is right now in terms of money isn't really good for the scene long term. There was a proposal for a portion of TI money to be spread out through the whole year and that was actually good if executed properly. But since we're talking about valve here, expect nothing. RIP my beloved game The extra hoops to jump through for DPC events, the extra prizemoney needed to be paid, and not being able to secure sponsorships from industries that pay better rates were all factors that made hosting valve events impossible to make money on. Turns out my wife had opened up a charge card at our bank, then got a couple of store cards around town. She had purchased some serious clothes and jewelry, but the real kicker was she had bought a horse. She had taken lessons as a child and decided this was going to be her new thing.
